Lavender Brown/Ginny Weasley

This is one of my forever fandoms. I love the worldbuilding and I love the books and I just keep coming back to it, because it's just so much fun. I prefer the books to the movies for a number of reasons, but I'm not a stickler about it if you prefer a particular something in the movies. And please no Cursed Child canon! I don't mind it, but I'd rather not have it here. Don't feel like you need to incorporate Pottermore canon, either-- I really only care about the 7 books.

Gryffindor really isn't that big, so surely they interacted at some point, right? Lavender and Ginny don't have much in common on the surface, but they both get overlooked and underestimated a lot, and I think they could bond over that. What was Lavender doing during that year the Carrows and Snape were running Hogwarts-- did she and Ginny get to know each other better then? Or maybe they bond in the aftermath of the war. We know that Lavender gets attacked by Fenrir Greyback during the battle in book 7-- how does that affect her?

Rikki Chadwick/Cleo Sertori

This is one of my favorite tiny fandoms and I will be delighted with literally anything. Weird science? Mermaid magic? Teen drama? Lay it all on me!

Together forever! Rikki and Cleo are the only two who are on the show for its entire run, and I love seeing their friendship grow. Friends-to-lovers, or them getting into mermaid shenanigans would be great.

Something angsty exploring the consequences and fallout of the end of season three, especially the destruction of the cave on Mako Island, would be great, as would any kind of full moon shenanigans. (Maybe the full moon acts as sex pollen? Or is the catalyst for some kind of fpreg incident?)

Art-specific: I really like their necklaces, especially their lockets. And anything focusing on them as mermaids is great!

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Fandom-specific notes: I hated Infinity War and have mixed feelings on Endgame. That said, if you want to incorporate Endgame canon into my gift, I’m good with that (and have included some prompts for that below). My only fandom-specific DNWs: no focus on the other half of the pairing being Snapped (fine with references to it, but don’t make it the focus of the entire fic, and please end with some sort of hopeful note), and please no reference to Natasha’s death. I don’t care how you handwave it; I want her alive in my giftfics.

Brunnhilde | Valkyrie/Carol Danvers

I’d love something where Carol and Val meet at some point in space! Maybe Carol’s work takes her to Sakaar and she meets Val there, or maybe Val leaves Sakaar before the events of Ragnarok and encounters Carol. I’m totally down for some cosmic adventures, some sparring, some fighty sex, and/or any of the above.

Or what about the five years that pass during Endgame-- did the two of them ever go on any missions together then? Or maybe something set after the Unsnappening: what is life like for Queen Valkyrie of New Asgard, and does that change her relationship with Carol and the others?

Wanda Maximoff/Ava Starr

So, these two have a lot in common-- they’ve both got OTT unstable powers and have been used by their handlers in the past, and set out to get revenge on the man who they blame for the death of their family. They’re not exactly alike-- Wanda volunteered, and Ava didn’t-- but that’s also interesting! It sets up a lot of interesting parallels and contrasts between them, and I’d love to see something that plays with that.

Jane Foster/Natasha Romanov

I’ll be honest, I just really like the idea of these two together! Jane has kind of a fraught history with SHIELD, and Natasha has a pretty mixed experience with the kind of science that leads to aliens falling from the sky, so I’m not sure they’d know what to think of each other immediately!

Maybe something where Natasha is assigned to keep an eye on Jane-- either covertly or openly-- and the two of them get caught up in some kind of trouble, either cosmic or with other government agents.

Or maybe Jane survives the Snap and makes contact with the remaining Avengers, and she and Natasha keep in contact after that. Maybe Jane gets called in to help out with the science portion of the time heist? (Again, I DNW Natasha dying if you go this route.)

Nakia/Okoye

I love the contrasts between these two-- they’re both so brilliant and so loyal to Wakanda, but their ideals and their thoughts on what’s best for what’s best for Wakanda and the rest of the world are a little different.

I’d love something set after Black Panther, as Wakanda is reaching out to the rest of the world-- this is what Nakia wanted, and Okoye wasn’t as certain about it. What does that look like for the two of them? Or maybe an AU where Nakia eats the heart-shaped herb and becomes the Black Panther and fights Killmonger, and Okoye joins her (maybe with some loyalty kink there)? Or you could do something with Nakia and Okoye working together to help rebuild Wakanda (and then to help rebuild the rest of the world) after the Unsnappening.

Okoye/Natasha Romanov

I absolutely love Okoye’s unshaking loyalty to Wakanda, even if that sometimes leads her in some misguided directions. Okoye rarely seems unsure of herself or her decisions. Meanwhile, I think Natasha is pretty constantly questioning every decision she’s ever made and her own moral compass and constantly striving because she doesn’t trust herself to be a good person. And I think those are some really interesting differences! Besides, they’re both really badass, and that just needs to be acknowledged.

Maybe they run into each other in the time period post-Civil War and Black Panther, when Wakanda is opening up to the world and Natasha is on the run? Or maybe they have some kind of history from ops Natasha has been on when Okoye has run into her? Or something set during the five year timeskip in Endgame, with the two of them running missions together? Maybe Okoye gets included on the time heist? (Again, I DNW Natasha dying if you go this route.)

Stardew Valley

So I came late to this game but I absolutely adore it. I love the gameplay, I love my farm, and I love the setting and the characters most of all. I love all the little nuances of Pelican Town and the surrounding area, and the seemingly never-ending amount of lore about the different creatures and magic in this world.

Leah/Penny

I’d really love to see these two bonding! Penny seems kind of adrift and directionless, but really sweet and I’d love for her to get the family she wants, and Leah is talented and knows what she wants, but she needs more confidence. I’d love to see them find what they’re looking for in each other.

Haley/Leah

Art girlfriends! Maybe the two of them bonding over their interests in photography and sculpture? Maybe Haley gets Leah to pose for some artistic (or not so artistic, your call) sexy photos? And besides all of that-- Leah chose to move to Pelican Town from the big city, whereas Haley has lived in Pelican Town her whole life. Does that change their respective outlooks on their tiny community?

Emily/Sandy

I love what we see of their friendship in the game, and I’d love something exploring what it might look like if they got to be more than friends. Even in canon, there’s a cactus Sandy gave to Emily to “remember her by”! Do they conduct their relationship long-distance, through their letters? What is it like when one of them goes to visit the other? How did Sandy come to live in the desert? What is her real name-- and does she tell it to Emily?

Alanna of Pirate's Swoop and Olau/Delia of Eldorne

So, women crossdressing for ~reasons~ (especially when those reasons include learning how to fight) is one of my all-time favorite tropes, so it should be no surprise that I adore the Alanna books. I know there are parts of them that are not as well-written as Pierce’s later work, and that parts haven’t aged well, but I still love them so so so much. Alanna is blessed by a goddess and has special purple eyes! What’s not to love?

I love the very small bit where Delia is pursuing “Alan”, and Alanna doesn’t know what to do. I would love it if she decided that a flirtation with Delia was a good idea to keep her cover as a boy-- only it goes further than she expects? Maybe a bit of blackmail on Delia’s end? I don’t think these two would ever have a comfortable relationship, but I think there could be something really interesting based on how they relate to life at court and how they circle around each other and their intrigues and facades. Look, anything you do here with the femslash + crossdressing + secrecy aspects would be great!
