scans_daily99a of 108. Warning for some gay-panic stuff. I'm breaking this update into two parts, not because it runs long, but because the second part is tricky to address.
JLA Classified was mostly “extra” stories featuring the best-known incarnations of the League, but for issues #4-9, it picked right up where Formerly Known as the Justice League left off. These stories were probably planned to be Formerly Known #7-12, but instead, they became a six-issue collection of adventures (with later trade paperback) titled “I Can’t Believe It’s Not the Justice League.” ( ‘‘Formerly Known as ‘Formerly Known as the Justice League’’’ must not have tested well. )

May. 22nd, 2026 08:09 pmsnickfic+ Liam and Noel have been going to football matches together, along with various combinations of Liam's kids Gene and Lennon and Noel's kids Anais, Sonny, and Donovan. Liam and Noel's first time hanging out in public since like 2008?? Some great photos and short clips, but this one from last weekend has got to be the best. The full belly laugh, head thrown back! Noel trying ever more insistently to get his attention again because he wasn't finished yet!!
Bonus: Anais thinks her uncle is funny. ;__;

+ The reunion tour documentary has an official release date! And it's going to have JOINT INTERVIEWS, YOU GUYS. Liam and Noel in the same room, answering questions. Can you even fucking imagine. They haven't done one of those since 2005. Noel is going to laugh at all Liam's jokes and Liam is going to be SO SMUG about it. I'm going to see this IN A THEATER and I am going to dieeeeee.
+ Of course twitter asked Liam about this, and his response was:
He later said that the romance would be between "us and the fans," but we know the truth. :')
+ And finally, have this old clip I found of Liam at a gig singing I waited for a thousand years for you to come / and take me from behind.

‘Ms. Marvel’ Star Iman Vellani Makes Solo Comics Writing Debut With ‘Chachu’

Set in 1979, the series follows Leila, a 19-year-old Pakistani-Canadian young woman with a love of film and pulp novels who travels to California to reconnect with her estranged uncle – a semi-retired private eye once celebrated for having married the starlet he was originally hired to find. May. 20th, 2026 08:19 pmsnickfic- There are FOUR movies coming out this weekend that I am at last mildly interested in seeing, two probably only in theaters for a week. We'll see how many I manage to hit. The one I'd most like to support is Saccharine, a horror movie directed by an Australian woman, but it's also the one least convenient for me in terms of location/showtime. There are two other horror movies, Passenger and Corporate Retreat, and the new Boots Riley movie.

My co-mod apologized that I've had to do most of the nom approvals this round, but honestly I'd felt like I was hogging them because I've so badly needed a fannish distraction. Anyway lots of good things in the tagset! Many new items on my read/watch lists! I can't wait to see what people request.
- So many nice Oasis tidbits from the last month and a half. I hope to compile them into a post here soon.
- I haven't written anything since I posted that Oasis fic a month and a half ago. I'm really hoping SoH gets my creative juices going again. I miss writing.
- Yesterday at Goodwill I found a whole stack of things, ranging from a DVD boxset of schlocky mid/late 00s horror to a SIGNED British hardcover edition of The Scar by China Mieville. For $4. Okay!!
