These are two of my childhood favorites! I love their resourcefulness and their cleverness. You can handwave the timeframe if you like so they're both around the same age, or maybe set this a little in the future for both girls? I'd love it if they met while on a case-- maybe Trixie is working a case for her detective agency, but Nancy is investigating the case from another angle, and they initially get in each other's way? Maybe Nancy's prime suspect is Trixie's client, or vice versa?

Please do not make homophobia (even historically-accurate homophobia) the focus of any plot.

I'm okay with both canon divergent and setting AUs to make pairings here work, but if you go the setting AU route, I much prefer non-mundane AUs (in space, steampunk, dragon riders, etc.) to mundane AUs (high school, college, office, etc.)

These two both start out a bit sheltered and wishing for adventure-- I'd love it if they met and got to be adventurous together! Maybe Belle travels to Agrabah and wins the heart of the sheltered princess? Maybe the two of them find themselves going on some kind of journey together?

Elsa/Merida
Neither Elsa nor Merida has a canon love interest (yet, anyway)! So obviously, they should be in love with each other! Merida can impress Elsa with her archery skills, and Elsa can impress Merida with her ice magic. It would be a lot of fun if, in order to officially marry or be together, Elsa had to win Merida's hand like the suitors in Brave? But really, any kind of adventure with the two of them would be great!

I'd love to see an OFC Elsa might make a connection with! Maybe she's royalty or nobility from another country? Or maybe she's a commoner from Arendelle? I feel like there's a lot of possibilities for meet-cutes here-- anything with Elsa's ice magic (ice constructs, ice skating, snow...) is really fun!

Fa Mulan/Jasmine
I love Mulan's independent spirit, and how awkward she can be with other people. Also, I love that they both canonically crossdress (even if it's only a tiny bit in Jasmine's case). Maybe Jasmine's position as the princess of Agrabah brings her to China, and she and Mulan meet that way? Or maybe Mulan works as the bodyguard for Princess Jasmine? Either way, I'm here for lots of adventures and possibly some crossdressing shenanigans!

This is one of my forever fandoms. I love the worldbuilding and I love the books and I just keep coming back to it, because it's just so much fun. I prefer the books to the movies for a number of reasons, but I'm not a stickler about it if you prefer a particular something in the movies. And please no Cursed Child canon! I don't mind it, but I'd rather not have it here. Don't feel like you need to incorporate Pottermore canon, either-- I really only care about the 7 books.

Katie Bell/Ginny Weasley
Love on the Quidditch pitch? They played on the same team during OOTP and HPB, so maybe they got to know each other then. Or maybe they become rival chasers post-DH, and things get a little heated?

Lavender Brown/Parvati Patil
Best friends forever! They both seem like unlikely Gryffindors on the outside, but they are definitely brave at heart! I would love to see them in the DA during DH, or more about them after Hogwarts (what do they go on to do with their lives?) and how they get together.

Cho Chang/Fleur Delacour
I feel like both Cho and Fleur get a bad rap in a lot of fandom, but I like them both a lot. Fleur is used to being underestimated as only a pretty face, but she's smart and tough and loyal. And Cho is a talented Quidditch player who is extremely loyal to her friends. What if Fleur were the Champion that Cho fell for, rather than Cedric? Or maybe the two of them (re)connect after the war and begin developing feelings for each other?

Astoria Greengrass/Ginny Weasley
We know almost nothing about Astoria in canon (excluding Cursed Child, but...see my above note about that), except what house she belongs to. But I've read and loved a lot of different takes on her, and I'd love to see how she and Ginny might end up together. Maybe an AU where they secretly get together during canon (possibly set during DH)? Maybe it started out as a friends-with-benefits situation post-war, and they both caught feelings?

Daphne Greengrass/Parvati Patil
Again, we know basically nothing about Daphne in canon. I know there's a lot of fanon about her-- she's often portrayed as the "Ice Queen of Slytherin"-- and if you want to run with that as a starting point, feel free! I'd really love to see what makes these two connect and how they interact. Their paths must have crossed in Hogwarts-- did they get together then? Or did it happen afterwards, when what house you're in was no longer such a big deal?

Alice Longbottom/Lily Evans Potter
Anything with these two would be great. Something about them during Hogwarts would be fantastic, before the two of them get married and have kids. Or maybe they both survive and get together then? I especially love it when people remember that Alice was also an Auror, and wasn't totally helpless.

Luna Lovegood/Ginny Weasley
I love the glimpses we see of Luna and Ginny's friendship in canon-- they might not always understand each other, but they care about each other and are quick to defend one another. Maybe something where the two of them go on an expedition looking for magical creatures together, post-DH? Or something during HPB or DH, with the two of them getting together and finding each other in the midst of uncertainty?

I love all of the Little Women books, but I have a special love for Little Men and Jo's Boys, which are where all of these characters are from. They're not perfect-- some of the race and gender politics are definitely of their time-- but the characters are charming and I want them all to be happy!

I really love Josie's free-spirited personality, and how she balances pursuing her dreams with practicality. I'd love to see Josie fall for another actress or Plumfield College student! Costumes, secret backstage makeouts, university shenanigans... give me all of it!

Nan Harding/Daisy Brooke
Childhood friends-turned-lovers! Daisy and Nan are such opposites in many ways-- Daisy is pretty content with wanting to be a housewife, but Nan is a suffragette and studying to be a surgeon. But they always seem to respect each other. I'd be really fascinated at how they would get along in a relationship.

Nan Harding/Josie Brooke
We don't get a lot of canonical interaction between Nan and Josie, but they're both very independent and determined to break out of the molds that society would place them in. And career-driven! I'd love to see them coming together and supporting each other.

Nan Harding/Bess Laurence
Again, we don't get a lot of canonical interaction between Nan and Bess. But they've known each other since childhood, and I think a relationship between them would be really interesting! I find it hard to get a read on Bess outside of her parents' expectations of her-- what does she want from life, really? I feel like she's a sharp contrast to Nan, who mapped out a plan for her life as a young girl and then methodically set about achieving her goals.

Nan Harding/Original Female Character
Nan is pretty fiercely opposed to marriage, but maybe that's because that would involve a man. I'd love for her to find someone who respects her drive for a career-- maybe someone else who is just as career-oriented? Maybe she gets involved in the suffrage movement and meets someone there?

Fandom-specific notes: I hated Infinity War and have mixed feelings on Endgame. That said, if you want to incorporate Endgame canon into my gift, I’m good with that (and have included some prompts for that below). My only fandom-specific DNWs: no focus on the other half of the pairing being Snapped (fine with references to it, but don’t make it the focus of the entire fic, and please end with some sort of hopeful note), and please no reference to Natasha’s death. I don’t care how you handwave it; I want her alive in my giftfics.

Carol Danvers/Jane Foster
Carol and Jane don't seem like they have a lot in common on the surface, but they've both spent large portions of their lives pushing back against people who don't believe in them, only to succeed in the end-- Carol, with the Air Force, and Jane, with her theories about Einstein-Rosen bridges. I would love these two going on space adventures together, or working together post-Snap, or basically anything!

Jane Foster/Nebula
I’m not saying Jane has a thing for aliens, but she doesn’t not have a thing for aliens. Nebula might not know what to make of Jane, at least at first, but she’d probably respect her determination and fearlessness. I’d love for them to go on space adventures together!

Nakia/Okoye
I love the contrasts between these two-- they’re both so brilliant and so loyal to Wakanda, but their ideals and their thoughts on what’s best for what’s best for Wakanda and the rest of the world are a little different.

I’d love something set after Black Panther, as Wakanda is reaching out to the rest of the world-- this is what Nakia wanted, and Okoye wasn’t as certain about it. What does that look like for the two of them? Or maybe an AU where Nakia eats the heart-shaped herb and becomes the Black Panther and fights Killmonger, and Okoye joins her (maybe with some loyalty kink there)? Or you could do something with Nakia and Okoye working together to help rebuild Wakanda (and then to help rebuild the rest of the world) after the Unsnappening.

Nakia/Natasha Romanov
Spy shenanigans! Nakia has been outside of Wakanda on missions for the War Dogs a lot, and Natasha has spent most of her life as a spy. I would love to see them trying to get one over on each other, or having to work together for a common goal. I'd also love their differing outlooks on loyalty and their general ideologies-- everything Nakia does is for Wakanda, and she believes very strongly into Wakanda even when she disagrees with its policies. I'm not sure Natasha believes in an ideology or a country as much as she believes in looking after the people she cares about.

Ava Starr/Hope Van Dyne
Now that Ava has been healed, what happens next? What does she do with her life-- and does it involve a lot of complicated feelings about and sex with Hope? Maybe circumstances keep forcing them to work together, and they slowly realize they actually do like being on the same side.

Valkyrie/Carol Danvers
I’d love something where Carol and Val meet at some point in space! Maybe Carol’s work takes her to Sakaar and she meets Val there, or maybe Val leaves Sakaar before the events of Ragnarok and encounters Carol. I’m totally down for some cosmic adventures, some sparring, some fighty sex, and/or any of the above.

Or what about the five years that pass during Endgame-- did the two of them ever go on any missions together then? Or maybe something set after the Unsnappening: what is life like for Queen Valkyrie of New Asgard, and does that change her relationship with Carol and the others?

Valkyrie/Jane Foster
Again, I’m not saying Jane has a thing for aliens, but she doesn’t not have a thing for aliens. XD Jane is Earth's leading expert on the Bifrost (and possibly on a lot of Asgardian tech)-- maybe she ends up at the New Asgard settlement? (Maybe Valkyrie is the one who brings her there?) Or maybe Valkyrie makes Jane!Thor her queen! Or they go on road trips in space!

I'm always here for everyone lives AUs for Rogue One or for Padme lives AUs. I really liked Paige’s and Amilyn’s deaths in TLJ-- they were really well done and hit home and I don’t want them reversed, but feel free to make me cry about them.

Pash Davane/Leia Organa
(Note: Pash Davane appears in the stand-alone comic, Star Wars Annual #2.)

PASH. <3 I love her cynical-ass view on the world and also I love her giant arms and her ability to bash a dude’s head in with a brick. I’d love more about Pash before her planet was ruined by war-- what was her life like? What did she do, as an underwater engineer? Or tell me more about after she joins the Rebellion. Does she get to be an engineer again? How does she feel about the decidedly-less-cynical others in the Rebellion? How does Han feel about her ripping the sleeves off of his shirt? Please feel free to feature Bruce, too!

I’d love some continuing adventures of Pash and Leia! Maybe they have to bail each other out of trouble a couple more times, maybe they meet up when Leia is back at base (does she come up with threadbare excuses to come and see the engineers?). The comic was basically one of my favorite scenarios already (forced to work together) but I’d love a reversal where they’re on Leia’s home ground, rather than Pash’s.

Jyn Erso/Amilyn Holdo/Leia Organa
Everything I said about Amilyn/Leia and Jyn/Leia applies here as well.

For Jyn/Amilyn interactions, I’m mostly interested in seeing these two interacting and bouncing off of each other! They strike me as having very different personalities-- Jyn seems very straightforward, where Amilyn tends to approach things sideways.

I’d really love something set during the Rebellion or in the years directly after the fall of the Empire for the three of them: anything involving secret missions, rescue missions, politicking, or culture clashes would be great.

I've read Leia, Princess of Alderaan, so if you want to lean on that for Amilyn's characterization and/or Leia’s backstory, I'm totally there for that.

Jyn Erso/Enfys Nest
While both of these women are very straightforward and practical, Enfys seems much more...not idealistic, exactly. But willing to fight for change? While Jyn just wants to be left alone when we first meet her. I'd love to see how they interact!

Jyn Erso/Original Female Character
Maybe someone Jyn knew between the time she left Saw and the time she joined up with the Rebellion? Or maybe she survives Scarif, and finds someone-- in the Rebellion, or after the war-- that she connects with? I'd actually find it really interesting if she fell for someone who hadn't been involved in the war at all, since so much of her life has been shaped by the Empire.

Jyn Erso/Leia Organa
I’d love something post-canon with the two of them working together in the Rebellion. Maybe they team up on a mission together? Or Jyn doesn’t want to admit that she admires the spoiled princess from Alderaan-- and then finds out how good with a blaster Leia is?

Jyn Erso/Ahsoka Tano
Maybe Ahsoka and Jyn come across each other in the early days of the Rebellion, when it's still coalescing into one movement? Or maybe Ahsoka is the one sent to recruit Jyn to the Rebellion instead of Cassian?

I've read Ahsoka so if you want to borrow from that, feel free!

Amilyn Holdo/Leia Organa
Holdo's arc completely destroyed me. And that handclasp the two of them shared!!!!! They obviously have a lot of history, so anything from that would be amazing. I've also read Leia, Princess of Alderaan in which they first meet, so something referencing that era or the years in-between would be amazing. Please do not undo Holdo's amazing, heroic death though.

I've read Leia, Princess of Alderaan, so if you want to lean on that for Amilyn's characterization and/or Leia’s backstory, I'm totally there for that.

Amilyn Holdo/Qi'ra
They would be so pretty together! And have the most fabulous clothes! And shoot anyone who gets in their way! Maybe during the Rebellion, Amilyn has to convince Qi’ra that Crimson Dawn should help the Rebellion-- or at least not stand in their way? Or maybe after the New Republic is established, they have some sort of encounter that leads to more?

Leia Organa/Qi'ra
I really want Leia and Qi'ra to meet! They're both very driven, but I think they'd almost certainly be on different sides. I think Leia could be as ruthless as Qi'ra if she had to be, but I don't think it comes naturally to her. I would love a situation where they're forced to work together, or to negotiate something, or if they're frenemies of some kind who keep meeting.

Rey/Rose Tico
Technically they haven't even met yet in canon, but when has that ever stopped me? Rose would be totally blown away by Rey, another Hero of the Resistance at first, but Rey would like Rose because she's Finn's friend. I feel like their life experiences are very complementary, and while they're both optimists at heart, they have their moments of cynicism. I would love to see them come together!
