Having been born and raised in the depths of Drearburh, Gideon thought she was accustomed to finding her way through labrynthine passageways. On this particular venture with Harrow into the winding thoroughfares of Canaan House, however, she found herself without the foggiest sense of direction.
"At least we're lost together," she said.
"I know precisely where I'm going," Harrow snapped. "You're the one who is lost. I could walk away from you right now and then I'd be neither together nor lost, and probably much happier for it."
