rare femslash 2022

Dear Creator,

I'm sure I'll like whatever you make for me, so just have fun! I know there are some pairings that have more prompts than others, but that just means I had a lot of ideas for those (or had a past letter to copy & paste from). If I requested a pairing, I would be happy to see just about anything for them!

I’m [archiveofourown.org profile] saiditallbefore on AO3.

  • Focus on the breakup of canon relationships (please just say it didn't work out or it never happened; don't make a Big Thing about it)

The Wheel of Time

Fandom-specific note: I am a show-only fan, so please do not hinge any fanworks around knowledge from the books.

Moiraine Damodred/Siuan Sanche
I love everything about these two: their shared history, their chemistry, how devoted they are to each other despite everything in their way. That oath was basically a marriage vow! They love each other so much, but they care about their shared mission and the fate of the world more-- and they know that they might lose each other because of it. It's beautiful and terrible and I love it.

Nynaeve al'Meara/Egwene al'Vere
They've known each other for forever, and they care about each other so much! They both believe in each other deeply, even if they don't always agree. I love how much Egwene looks up to Nynaeve, and how much Nynaeve respects and believes in Egwene. And everything they've been through-- apart and together-- has just solidified that.

H2O: Just Add Water

Emma Gilbert/Cleo Sertori
They've known each other for years, before Rikki came along! Friends-to-lovers? Or maybe Cleo is insecure about her place in their friendship now that they're mermaids and Rikki is there? Or maybe something after Emma returns home, and they realize they like each other as more than just friends?

Rikki Chadwick/Cleo Sertori
Together forever! Rikki and Cleo are the only two who are on the show for its entire run, and I love seeing their friendship grow. Friends-to-lovers, or them getting into mermaid shenanigans would be great.

Rikki Chadwick/Emma Gilbert
Opposites attract! Maybe Rikki tries to get Emma to lighten up and live a little? Or Emma is secretly attracted to her free-spirited friend?

Rikki Chadwick/Emma Gilbert/Cleo Sertori
The original three! I love how much these three love each other and balance each other out, and how ride-or-die they are from right at the beginning.

The Nevers

Penance Adair/Amalia True | Zephyr Alexis Navine
These two are basically married. I love how much they care about and support each other, and how they balance each other out. Give me anything! This show is absolutely bonkers and is entirely made of twists, so I'm into whatever you want to throw at me.

The Old Guard

Andy/Nile Freeman
I absolutely love these two! I love how competent they both are-- Nile is clearly great at what she does (she's a Marine!) but Andy has so much experience that she just cannot keep up during that fight on the airplane. And when they work together, they're unstoppable. One of the things I really like about their dynamic is that Nile is young and optimistic and brand-new to immortality, but Andy has seen it all and done it all-- and now has to reckon with being mortal again.

Andy/Nile Freeman/Quynh
Andy and Quynh have a long and fraught history: hundreds of years together, before being separated and spending hundreds of years apart. Nile and Quynh don't have any of that history-- but we know that Nile has dreamed of Quynh. Presumably, Quynh is dreaming of Nile, too, and the dreams won't stop until they meet. What do they think of what they've seen of each other? What brings all three of these women together?

Crossover Fandom

Susan Pevensie (Narnia)/Elizabeth Swann (PotC)
The Pirate King and a Queen of Narnia! Narnia really seems like the kind of place you could sail to in the Pirates of the Caribbean world! As always, what I'm most interested in with this pairing is seeing how these characters would play off of each other: Susan is The Gentle Queen, with a quiet core of strength, while Elizabeth is much more brash, determined to make her own way in the world on her own terms.

I would really rather this not be a "Problem of Susan" type of story, but if you set it after her adventures in Narnia are concluded, I would rather the story focus on her feelings about her current adventures, rather than on bitterness about the past.

Chelli Lona Aphra (SW Canon EU)/River Song (Doctor Who)
I've read the 2016 run of Aphra comics and I have listened to the Doctor Aphra book, and I adore her. She's kind of a sociopath, but she's so delightful! I also really love River Song-- she's charming and adventurous and also willing to shoot first and ask questions later. And they're both SPACE ARCHAEOLOGISTS! They could be rivals, or work together, or meet on a dig (which one or both of them would almost certainly be at illicitly)! The possibilities are endless!
